The Idea

Life gets busy and joining a country club is expensive, but we still wanted some friendly competition on the course. And serious amateur events weren't our thing.

The Classic Tour is a flexible, season-long competition that allows you to compete on your time against golfers on your level.

Play with friends or use it to meet other laid-back golfers.

Easy going but competitive at the same time. I love that a weekend round with my buddies is now part of something bigger.

How it works

  1. 1

Play one of the designated courses each month with another member on your schedule.

  2. 2

Submit your score & earn points based on how you finish in your handicap tier.

  3. 3

Rack up additional points at in-person team events. Points from your best 3 finishes will go towards your season total.

  4. 4

The top 30 players from each handicap tier will qualify for our Tour Championship in October at the private Hopkinton Country Club. More points = better starting lead in your tier.

Handicap Tiers: A (0-7.9) · B (8-15.9) · C (16-23.9) · D (24+)

Start Competing

I travel the country for work and always take my clubs. This has been a great way to find people to play with and try new courses.
